I've been involved in personal and spiritual growth since the age of 17.  Over the years, I've had amazing, fantastic, transformative experiences on my quest, and I've also had painful and devastating ones.  This paradox was what inspired me to write my novel, The Heart of a Cult.  The book tells the story of a well-intentioned seeker who has to navigate the all-too-human dysfunctions of a spiritual community in her quest to know the truth.
